Twice now in as many weeks I have watched two drop that I felt I could do something with, I wasn't convinced that £50 each was worth it so gambled on they would expire and they would become ftr. They did exactly that but I delayed by minutes then went to register them only to find a member on here ( a successful catcher on the other side of the world) had snapped them up.
Lesson: have the guts to put your money where your mouth is and strike whilst the iron is hot.
Racking my brain to think of the first one but the name today was dogtastic which I would have developed at some point, in hindsight it was worth £50?
Ah Well!
Don't know why you're paying £50, most places are cheaper.
Can't say I remember any he caught that I was after, but plenty of other catchers catch names I'm after, the swines
What were the 4 he beat you to?
Both renewed, not caught.two of them are:
bathroomaccessories.co.uk
bestcreditcard.co.uk
at least he doesn't chase the .org.uk's!!
Both renewed, not caught.
Can't think that I have seen actively catching domains on the drop.
do you know why his domains only get renewed just before they drop? they go way past the renewal date.
he has some lovely domains, and so does 'nokta domains' registered in turkey. i'll ignore those two from now on :/
Some leave it to the last minute to renew in order to generate interest and potential offers before they drop.
More a case of Nominet invoicing at the point of renewal not 'renewal required'. It's a cashflow thing.
