Little tip for you also, try putting some heading tags in your sites html, especially an <h1> tag, does wonders for SEO.;)

Nothing wrong in pseudo promoting your business if its coupled with some learned advice. Seems a well written piece and provides food for thought - if nothing else.

I tend to question the validity of the "companies use SEO in times of recession" advice - simply because the words "SEO" and "recession" have never previously been used in the same sentence and thus there is no historical data which to go by.

Well there is when they have just taken the text from a website (and not quoted the source) and then try to pass it off as there own words, then posted it on loads of other forum's and judging by there own website they know very little about SEO.
