Evening - I was waiting for a .co.uk domain to drop and had it listed with Dropcatcher and snapnames. Now whilst dropcatcher got the domain with updates saying "Suspended" etc snapnames just sits there doing nowt saying Releases On n/a

I have 2 other domains booked with Snapnames and Dropcatcher both co.uk's. Now whilst dropcatcher is listing them both as suspended, again snapnames just says "Releases on: n/a"

So do I need to do anything with snapnames at all? Both domains are wanted by another party so I want to maximise my chances of getting them, so I figure the more services I use, better my chances.

Also are there any other services that will catch a .co.uk apart from Pool and those two?

Cheers!

It all depends on the name. If, for example, it's a one word name in common use (eg cheese.co.uk) then you've got no chance.

If it's something less popular, such as zed-wibble.co.uk, then you've got every chance using these services.

The more people after it, the less chance you've got of catching it.

Thanks bb99, its not that, its just that from the account screen of snapnames, nothing has changed.

The domain went from Suspended to available to registered (Which I got through dropcatcher) but nothing at all has changed on Snapnames. I would assume in the run up to the domain becoming available snapnames would show similar info to dropcatcher as to the status of the domain, i.e. suspended, but it didn't it just stayed on "Releases on: n/a" which would indicate to me, that they aren't monitoring the whois co.uk servers?

Thanks!
