Surrey Downs describes the area of the North Downs AONB which falls within the county of Surrey. The below is a map of the 'Surrey Downs' area:
It is the name of an NHS clinical commissioning area serving 300,000 people (NHS Surrey Downs CCG), a golf club (Surrey Downs Golf Club), and a cricket league (The Surrey Downs League), as well as a local lifestyle magazine with a circualtion of 34000 (Surrey Downs Magazine).
The area contains the following towns: Epsom, Banstead, Reigate, Dorking, Leatherhead + more. Total population in excess of 300,000 people.
