What do forum members think of swear or slang domain names?

Russ

I've got a few but I used to have more. There's no real path to monetisation unless you have a related website, you want to brand something that isn't a proper business, or you sell email addresses. Even then, I don't think there's big money in 'em.

Sorry for the humour but I suppose you could say it drops it's load!...

... I'll get my coat

OOps, it will actually drop it's load on Sunday, not Saturday.

Not much revenue in them, but I recently tried to catch shite.co.uk to use as a personal blog, as that name describes perfectly what usually comes out of my mouth/keyboard

It was caught by a forum member here who I don't have much time for, but I offered to buy it anyway, but his asking price was just silly for such a shite domain :) I probably woulda paid up to 1K for it if it was not caught by said person ;)

So there does appear to be some-worth in them then!
