Given that these are UK domain names, could you please confirm what/where the quoted search volumes are for?

[htc hd] gets zero exact match search volume in the UK for example, not 201,000.

Thanks

Hello TY :)

All results are compliments of Google.co.uk Keyword tool, with 'United Kingdom' selected as country and english as language.

https://adwords.google.co.uk/select/KeywordToolExternal

are you searching this term correctly?... the proper search would be "HTC HD" (NOT one word)

Thanks

Indeed, I've had a fair bit of practice with the KWT.

Are you sure you're searching the term correctly? I think you might need a refresher course ;)

I'm getting the same as Ty_, the 201,000 is global not local searches and therefore irrelevant for .uk domains.

However I don't believe the zero matches figure either so I think the keyword tool must be playing up.

As an example, the HTC Hero is a popular current phone, GKT reports over 1 million global exact searches and zero local searches - that cannot be correct.

Which neatly brings me to another point.

HTC is a trademark so HTC phone names shouldn't be listed on here anyway.

Any mods around to delete this thread?

relax yourself there guy... HTCHD can really mean anything...look at my parked page also .. it's all travel... can it be applied to 'High Tech Computers'? - sure... can HTC mean something else "Home Theater Cinema HD"? ABSOLUTELY .. so relax yourself, please.

As for the 201,000 searches a month - Global to Local ..
.. check ANY other country and every one will show you you ZERO under local, so obviously, there is something buggy going on.
Not trying to pick a fight with ya, but no need for the... whatever you just did

**In another note ... man .. nice sig names you have there - very impressive
