hi guys just struggling to work something out when you search you key words and products on lets say google and you see a result for over a million lets say for "....mobile.. to.." and the domain www.mobileto.co.uk was available would this be a goodone to buy ....forget the name based on hits etc tryingt to get to grips if thats the sort i need to be looking for any help most appreciated....brain hurts ..................one of you guys needs to run a course from ya house and charge people do a crash course......id sign up lol

Go back and read the answers on your other 2 threads. Focus on what is being searched for, not what gives the most results in Google. mobileto.co.uk is another worthless domain.

No, that's a very bad name to buy.

You have to match a particular PRODUCT or SERVICE, not a random part of a sentence.

"mobile phone" is a product
"company incorporation" is a service
"patio heater" is a product
"ghost writing" is a service

and so on.

The title of your thread is worrying: "urgent advice needed". I guess the message from the other threads isn't really sinking in yet: stop rushing to register stuff, and learn learn learn first. Saves you money, and if a domain hasn't been registered in the last 15 years a couple more weeks won't make a difference.

BTW, when searching on Google to see how many sites use a keyphrase, always put quotes around your search, i.e.

"mobile phone"
and not
mobile phone

With quotes, you get only those pages that contain the exact keyphrase "mobile phone". Without quotes, you get any page with "mobile" and "phone" somewhere in the text. For example, a page with the text "I called the mobile catering service from my office phone" on it would potentially show up for a search without the quotes, because both words are there.

thanks for the advice dont worry not buying but the problem is when you are learning it seems the onlyway to find out if you are getting the hang off it is to buy it and then seek advice and someone tells you thats godd or no your still on the wrong lines i had some advice and was given an example of mp3mixers.co.uk someone had just tagged would this make a difference if you had mixer or mixers and does it make a difference which way round the words are sorry if this is common sense ie mixersmp3.co.uk or mp3mixers.co.uk

"mp3 mixers" is the product, so you want to buy the domain with the words in the correct order i.e. "mp3mixers.co.uk". If it's a product that makes sense in both the singular and the plural then get both.
