This is just a thought I had recently. The domains I'm talking about are ones dealing with 'official' things like tax and tax credits for example.
Taking the example of tax (I know some of these don't exist but it's just an example):
www. tax. co.uk - most people would guess this is a commercial site
www. tax. gov.uk- most people would know this is government site
www. tax. uk- ? Looks pretty official to me, more than the .co.uk anyway and so seems more credible and clickable.
Will .uk add credibility to some domains?
