Dont get upset there worthless, only 1 person on this forum will say they are worth something and that will be mat, but first he will tell you to stick a site up on them and they will be worth a million pounds...

I dont know why i bother wasting my time, but at the end of the day your wasting your money.

Give it to charity instead, do something worth while with your money :)

Only trying to help.....

Just look at it like this, if your posting for apprasials you have no idea about domain names ;)

Do you ever see me asking other people to value my mames ;)

Thing is with you DB, you talk the talk but you certainly dont walk the walk. You have some very nice domains yes, but thats not what its all about when you lack general business intellect.

There are some very strong domainers on this forum that I have alot of respect for and you dont see them giving it the large all the time. Just zip it up and get on with selling your own domains instead of constantly putting others down.

P.S. I just sold that "worthless" home-business domain for £xxxx to a member on this forum.

That is all.

I agree with DB. As brandable domains they seem fine, but obviously there are an awful lot of equally brandable alternatives. That these were available for registration shows their lack of any obvious perceived value.

With this in mind you could try to turn them into successful websites, and then of course there would be some value - but to do this would require a totally different set of business skills.

Most people register domains like this when they first get involved in domaining. From there they either move into acquisition of prime generics (having decided there is no quick money in 100beef.co.uk), or web development, or a mixture of the two. Rarely have I seen anyone make good money (a living) from trading brandable domains as opposed to generics.

I'd expect someone who is advertising 100% recycled products would be much better off with something that does not need to be explained and is less awkward, like fullyrecycled or purerecycled. I think the "100" just look like a number, and I'm left to ask "100 recycled what"?

Sorry, JMHO. Best of luck.

I am with jacal1 / DB / james there, not entirely sure if they are worth much at all.

Sorry GDG, but they don't do it for me either...

I think names like these work better with the 100 prefix:

100badjokes.co.uk
100moviestars.co.uk
100bestpubs.co.uk
100greatfilms.co.uk
100freebies.co.uk
100rubbishdomainnames.co.uk ;)

Funnily enough, even all of these available at the time of posting. :???:

(donations to suzi [-at-] hotdomains.co.uk :D )

Suzi

Thanks ;)

My point is if anyone see's or says these web URL's out loud, you don't say "100 what?"

Before I posted this if any one saw these domains you would think 100% yeah ?.

100CarbonNeutral co uk
100Natural co uk
100Organic co uk
100Pure co uk
100Recycled co uk

Anyways besides the point, I'll just have to see what I can make of them for what they are and see what happens.

Thanks for all your comments people, didn't expect such a rough deal from them and have seen a lot worse posted here.

GDG ;)

Im not sure I understand.. So if you phone up your mum and say check out my new site its "one hundred percent beef dot co dot uk"...

Would she not say "sorry son I got a 404 I then checked the whois and it was not registered" :)

yeah thats right  oops how silly of me. Best reg that version too!!

Conclusion:

No one likes them, I'll give them a fighting chance.
Think i'd email her the link through a system called email just to make sure. (wonderful thing emails and the net).

THE END ;)
