Jim,
A lot of registrars create a new Nominet account every time you register a name.
There are two ways to get the domains into your TAG account:
Short Way:
Change the TAG on your 1and1 domains to your own TAG. This will allow you to manage them via the [Web Domain Manager] section of your TAG account, but not transfer them to other registrants without logging into the Nominet account they are "owned" by. They will not appear in the [Your Domains] section of the TAG account doing it this way.
Long Way:
You can merge Nominet accounts if they have the same TAG AND the same registrant details. You'll need to log into one of the 1and1 domains you have on the Nominet website - go to [Account >> Merge Accounts] and get all of the 1and1 domains into a single Nominet account. Note: You can't merge accounts that have domains on different TAGs or that have differing Registrant names.
When you've done that go to [Your Domain >> Registrant Transfer] and transfer all of the domains in one go to the email address your TAG account is on. You can choose to pay the £10+vat now or when you get the domains into the other account.
Nominet will send an email to the email address of the receiving account titled [Important:.uk Registrant transfer request] - when you click on the link in the email to accept the transfer choose [Existing Account] when prompted and then log into the TAG account to receive the domains. when this is done your 1and1 domains should be safely in your TAG account for management and owned by the Registrant details in use on that account. You will be able to manage them using both the [Web Domain Manager] & [Your Domains] sections of your TAG account.

Hope that all makes sense - it's a bit counter-intuitive, but in essence, only the actual registrant account can change the [Registrant] field, but the TAG account can change the DNS etc, so to do everything you need the domains to be owned AND managed by the same account.
