    hi

I have put one of my cherished domains satanic-bible.com for sale in ebay.

Is there a chance that it may get into someones view? My experience tells me that in ebay you can sell only more or less decent domains for £100-150 not more.

    Am I an uber-optimist?

    please share your thoughts...

    thank you in advance

optimistic would be a nice way to say it

even urlappraisal which is very generous with their domain name appraisals gives it much less than that. If you were to get a hundred you would be lucky and thank your lucky stars.

I have two problems with it.

    - the name is made too long by the use of the dash. The dash itself makes it very hard to bring up in the google rankings.

    - The ads that you could get from adsense at least would not pay much.

If it were satanicbible instead of satanic-bible then maybe you would find someone to pay 1000.

    22000 is an unrealistic dream

The problem is that the domain is not commercially viable.
In general, people buy domains for business purposes ie. to use them to make money.

Just because you are infatuated with your domains does not mean they have value :)
I think this one belongs to the collectors category: some people like to own controversial stuff but honestly I don't think it will ever be developed into something meaningful.

it's a great thing to be, but that usually goes hand in hand with 'ignorance is bliss'

deluded is a better fit for this valuation
    It's worth zero

If it was developed and got traffic it's a rare example of a domain that would be worth even less as it brings nothing to the table
what good could come from a satanic bible?

    delete it
    just my opinion
