    Hi Guys

Picked this name up a year ago ish.. checked stats last thursday night and the hits has gone from 1 or 2 uniques a day to nearly 1000 a day

Anyone watch Dragons Den Last week?

    Any thoughts price wise?

Checking my emails - I have had quite a few inquiries on the name previous to this, I think I have one from the guy that was on TV before the programme went live as well :???:

    Cheers
    DB

they repeated it again last night on TV, you should be making a bomb on PPC with this.

Monetise the traffic and this will raise its value, you can then offer it for sale at x times revenue.

Yeah earnings are looking pretty good :-D

I set up poker links on the name ,and the click throughs are great, obviously that is what they are looking for.

I might change the term from "Poker" as its paying very little  i think about 0.39$ per click :(

Looking at the google keyword tool the highest bid on 'poker' is £2.88, 'poker party' is much better at £13.61. I would change the keyword quick, you should be rolling in money from this :)

Great name! I would really hold out for a high offer on this. His business is built on his name and the fact he has been on Dragon's Den. I have no doubt that he would never have got his investment had the Dragon's not recognised the marketing power of the TV programme.

I seem to remember in the segment one of the dragon's (Duncan Bannatyne) seemed very interested when he said he had the web address thenutspokerleague. com/co.uk and we all know thenuts .co.uk is a thousand times better.

One thing to bear in mind a lot of your traffic was probably from domainers seeing what was at thenuts .co.uk having cursed you after checking the whois ;-)

A shame Duncan Bannatyne wasn't one of the investors he seems very keen on (sub) domains at least:

    Bannatyne Health Club
    fitness.bannatyne.co.uk

    Bannatyne Casino
    casino.bannatyne.co.uk

    Hotel Bannatyne
    hotel.bannatyne.co.uk

    Bar Bannatyne
    bar.bannatyne.co.uk

    Bannatyne Housing
    housing.bannatyne.co.uk

I'll save you the bother, he also has:

    duncanbannatyne. co.uk

Thanks lesurf, I couldnt belive it myself when I was watching it, and heard the address come up, all i could see was dollar signs

Yup agreed thenuts.co.uk is far better in anyones eyes.

I was asking £500.00 for complete ownership on previous enquiries.

    Saf

You use a parking program like sedo.co.uk

Ref ad words, IMO use all the freebie channels first then targeted advertising on related sites maybe...
