I thought I would share this...

    Everton Win
    Liverpool win
    Man utd win
    Blackpool Win
    Bolton draw
    Barcelona Win
    Southampton win
    Celtic win
    Sunderland win
    Charlton draw
    Chelsea win
    Swansea draw
    Tottenham win
    Norwich win

so in the 92nd minute Norwich score and I am ordering my new Porsche, and then the referee cancels the goal, you kidding me..my heart nearly stopped on me, all results today came in and I am awaiting Watford vs Brighton tomorrow.

Ouch, I was going to say tough luck but you done really well.

Do you do these type of bets often? Probably better than doing the lotto.

Nothing. If he had the permutation bets on he'd already be on a big win and would have presumably mentioned it in the original post. So presumably it was just a straight accumulator and he needed every one of them right.

If he had got that game right he'd have likely been offered a settlement from the bookies. I'm not sure what the odds on the last game would have been, but they could have offered him say £400-600k rather than let the bet run and see if you get the last game right for the full £1m :D

Blackpool drew anyway, they didn't win, conceding a goal roughly about the same time as Norwich disallowed goal too, double injury time bad luck.

    Good effort though.

sorry I had blackpool drawing, I typed it from memory, and my memory is like a sieve:rolleyes:

It is hard to get the Premiership right, MAN Utd was getting whooped, but the selection is prefilled and some of the games are 50/50 that's why the jackpot is high. maybe European leagues are better on accumulator type betting.

I did have three bets the others fell flat, both with different outcomes on Chelsea vs man city and Sunderland vs Newcastle

The sad thing is the Watford result wouldn't have even mattered a great deal. As someone else pointed out the bookies might have made you an offer anyway. If not, with sufficient funds, you could've laid off the bet on betfair.

Haha, true, in fairness he was very close here though. The ones that get me are where someone says, "I nearly won a tenner on the lottery but I had number 23 instead of 22". It's a different frickin ball!

Ah yes but they could have picked 22 if it had been last week when their daughter who is 23 now was only 22.
