Why are sedo taking days to answer emails? It's so annoying. I've noticed a real drop in customer care recently. With the exception of one or two sedo employees.

I've almost had it with sedo, Im in the middle of a high 4 figure sale and have to wait at least 24-36 hours to get a response from the person at sedo whos meant to be sorting things out. The last I heard was on Friday when he stated he will look into something - havent heard a thing back from him, a 'sorry, no update yet' response would do..................I'm sure Brad will come along in a minute and sort everything in 2 seconds flat but that's not the point......

I agree. Any dealings with Sedo are notoriously slow and you wait 24hrs min to get a reply. It's both very frustrating and completely unproffesional from their side.

Anybody did an analysis yet on their commision on all sales over a 12 month period? I'm sure with the kickback they make they could afford to employ a couple of extra bods.

I have to admit, the last few times I have needed a response I have bypassed completely and pm'd Brad.

Hello,

Our customer service department attempts to answer all emails within 24 hours.
SedoPRO members are in contact with an account manager to address questions as they arise.

Transfer agents send emails as they receive notice from other parties included in the transfer i.e.

agreement made (transfer begins)
notify buyer
notify seller
recieve payment
request transfer request
transfer the domain

while the steps are pretty straight forward, transfers vary greatly in length.
During any of these phases there is a chance that the buyer or seller is unresponsive.

A transfer agent may notify the seller that we are waiting for payment of the domain from the buyer... which is one email to the seller, however what that actually means is that the transfer agent is sending out emails as well as attempting to contact the buyer via telephone.

Transfer agents are also available if you have any questions during your transfer. We would like the transition from seller to buyer to go as smoothly as possible and it is very helpful if all parties are in contact.

Or maybe all correspondence between Sedo/buyer and Sedo/Seller should be cc'd to all parties involved?

Yes - true - although you know the buyer once the payment has been sent to Sedo.

In any case, both buyer and seller have entered into some kind of binding deal which Sedo could still enforce. I'm sure some buyers would prefer to deal via the Sedo broker in anycase for peace of mind.

ive waited a month for this sale, and from day 1, sedo told me the email
and full address of the buyer.

does that mean they already paid sedo ? and were waiting for nominet?
