I'm having a clear-out with a big project in the works (Digital.com), so I'm selling off some unfinished projects at the moment.

This week, I'm Looking for offers on Yacht.co.uk + .uk.

Looking to sell, but will also consider swaps for one word premium .COMs. Or a yacht, for that matter...

Please email offers rather than PM. Thanks

What kind of figure are you looking for?

Read an interview about your digital.com purchase on DomainSherpa. Good to know you're on here too Richard.

Although I feel this might be more suited to a separate thread, I'll initially post it here because it follows on from what you have posted above.

I visited the current digital.com web site and wonder what the thinking is behind you [QualityNonsense] writing what is not an insubstantial amount of content detailing the history of the digital.com domain name relating to when it was registered to other entities unconnected to you. You mention on the web site that something new is imminent and offer readers the facility to sign up by email to receive future information but provide absolutely no detail about what any new project might be related to. Isn't it more usual to post a very brief overview of what might be coming under the heading of "coming soon" or similar rather than make significant copy about what the domain name had previously resolved to which is of no obvious relevance anymore?

I thought it gave the site heritage.

Heritage by detailing the history of the previous registrants? Seems completely pointless to me unless the domain name was purchased to resolve to a web site about exactly that. There's absolutely no reference to what the apparent project scheduled for 2015 might be about so why would anyone care enough to sign up to know more? The former registrants and web sites that digital.com once resolved to are of no relevance to anyone today but a peek at the direction the domain name might be heading in could be interesting; unless of course there isn't any solid plan for a 2015 project and the current web site is really a "for sale" page hence the single Q&A in the FAQ section at the bottom. ;-)

Exactly - lots of people are interested in the heritage. It's the only domain I own that gets fan mail (mostly from ex-DEC employees).

I guess someone did it with goto.com/index.php?page=about so you're not totally on your own with this! :) However it may also potentially suggest to some that given the web site is devoid of any preview of what might be to come, there may actually be nothing to come other than a future "we decided to sell it" announcement.

I'll let you into a secret - not telling people what you have planned is the single best way to get them to signup to your mailing list!

How do you know?

Because lots of people signup to the mailing list.

You don't think the same number or even more would have done if you'd given a sneak preview of what might be to come? :)

Invincible - if you let us know your latest $350k purchase we can critique your new project to ;-)

Completely missed the point as usual.

There's a fine line between skepticism and cynicism.

Last I checked this was a 'for sale' thread, therefore no comments unrelated to the domain itself...why can't certain individuals respect that and let this guy try to sell this domain name.
