How can I shift a hot potato?

Years ago I wrote a web site as a bit of a rant on the web. It's grown and has attracted a lot of contributions. However it's theme is a bit of a 'hot potato'. Not porn, but more sex information and not terribly serious. Definitely adult.

The problem is that is new so popular that people might close in on who's it is. Media included. This would not look very professional.

It gets over 2000 unique visitors a day (7000+ pages), but I can't be seen making money.

Any suggestions as to how to unload it?

It's a .com with a nice simple name.

If you used your own details in the Whois at any time, people will be able to use the DomainTools historic Whois function to pull them out of there. If it's always been under Whois privacy then that's less of an issue so long as you can get somebody willing to take it off your hands.

It was a .com, so that I could register it in a false name. For the past few years it's been done properly and hidden.
(It also has a unique IP)

I just want to sell it, but keep a low profile. So I'm happy for somebody else to make the bit profit.
I have never got involved with advertising.

Basically it's not porn and actually there's worse 'sex education' on CH4 at the moment, however it 'conflicts with other interests'.
It is getting a very steady and high traffic. The site is a bit old school, but ranks very high on some big keywords.
