Hi,

Currently experimenting with the new Google Adsense Anchor/overlay ads.

The plan would be you would only need to add one bit of code to show these ads on all your parked domains.

These are mobile ads that stick to the bottom/edge of the user’s screen and are easily dismissable. Although parking revenue is generally pennies, I think this is the way to go for mobile monetization if you do have traffic - I would say Adsense seems far better payout bet than SEDO (not sure about Clicksor yet).

The question is maintaining Adsense guidelines while parking.

Your thoughts.. (this is a Samsung S6 Edge screen shot)

(This example on activity hotels domain (<- did you see the way I tried to cheekily juice this domain old school style with a back link ;) ) btw, ad won't work properly now if you view it.)

I had nothing but virus/malware/trojan alarms, and installers from Clicksor when I used them, revenue weren't too bad but I'd never use them again.

Google Clicksor Malware loads about it.

DM, would this be run through your own Adsense account?

If so, I guess you'd have to have automatic restrictions in place that blocked adverts appearing where the domain included specific words. That's probably the only way you can manage this without risking your account getting banned.

Yes you can use your own Adsense account and could filter sites/keywords out. Once set up it shouldn't be that much of an issue.

Thing is at the end of the day we all want the 'click', and the new page level ads might not actually work best being less obtrusive. The current example has a 600px vertical which should get mashed nicely on touch screen.. lets see how it goes for a few weeks.

I seem to remember there was a prohibition on using Adsense on pages where the only "exit" is via an ad. In other words, something like a parking page (there's no content/navigation links taking people to other parts of the site, since it's just a single page). Pretty much covered under "Valuable inventory" on this page, since a parking page breaks at least two and possibly three of the bulleted rules...

Yes there are a few  issues in guidelines. Def needs more attention on creating a 'box checking' mini site, which is why I only recommend affiliate code at moment.

Isnt there an issue with adsense on pages with no content also ? I know I built a couple of holding pages myself and with very little content I got warnings

(edit - im not saying you have no content on there...just wondered if its possibly an issue for holding pages0

Yes. You need to provide some form of value, so adsense along side bog standard domain sales page is not a great idea. There is a work around in progress.
