The whole thing makes you proud to be English.
    You could not buy it.

I'm not wanting to start a big debate/argument about Scottish v English.

I have an honest question - What makes you say it makes you proud to be English, rather than proud to be British?

Just thinking that if there were any terrorists plots today, then they might choose the car that has a subliminal message on it.

Didn't take long for this thread to reach the bottom of the mire with regard to tasteless (I would much rather..) comments. Shame on you.

CM1975 you have a very good point but why didn't you mention Wales lol

It bugs me when for eg the weather says it is mostly rain across the country refering to the whole of Britain !

Nobody ever mentions Wales! ;) I just didn't want someone to think that a "Jock" was bring it up as they're anti-English, hence Scotland vs England.

I think I saw more foreign flags in the crowds, than I saw English flags, so in my mind it was a very British occasion, with so many wearing red, white and blue.

Also, I was wondering if there would be a thread during Wimbledon where someone will say they are proud to be British when Murray does well ... by getting past the first round.

I don't think it's tasteless. When you have so many nutters in the world that take any little thing as a sign to commit some atrocity, then I think it's in bad taste to have a registration like that on a car that is a high risk target.

Sorry if that caused any offence!

it wasn't the OP that I thought tasteless, rather a remark about what someone would like to do to a Middleton

I've been moaning about it all week, but actually didn't mind watching it, Was working so caught bits and bobs. Nice dress, nice service, I liked the personal touch with the car with tins on.
