This phrase went viral yesterday after the announcement by some important bloke at Intel that Ultrabooks will dominate the market in one or 2 years.

Shitloads of Ultrabook domains were very quickly snapped up!

I managed to bag a few after doing some keyword research on netbooks and notebooks and seeing which were the most popular search terms. I got a few for the UK and a few US domains:
    Ultrabooks.org.uk
    Ultrabookreviews.co.uk
    Ultrabookdeals.net
    Ultrabookdeals.org

Did anyone else jump on this one? Do you think this is a potentially lucrative new market or just another fad?

"In his keynote, Maloney touted an "emerging new breed" of ultra-thin portable PCs for which Intel has trademarked the term Ultrabook"

I didn't jump on it, but back in December I did reg ultrathinlaptop.co.uk.

Lots of articles about the Asus UX21 (mentioned in the link) seem to refer to it as an ultrathin laptop so hopefully it will become a regular laptop 'category', but who knows.

Are you hoping to sell the domains or develop them?

I´d just sell them on - dont seem to have much luck developing domains where I need datafeeds for constantly changing products. Information sites seem to be far and away my most successful ventures.
    That or JV them.

Given the trademark issue then I would cancel these domains before you land yourself in trouble :(
