Is Inception really worth the drive and effort to see before the DVD comes out?

It depends. If you've avoided reading spoilers so far, I'd recommend making the effort. After all, it's very unlikely you'll make it another 6-9 months without accidentally stumbling across someone somewhere who blurts out the key parts of the plot.

If you've already read what's happening in the film, then that's a much more 50/50 decision I guess.

Inception is the best film I've watched this year. Probably the best film for several years (and we watch A LOT!)

Gotta agree with Edwin on Inception. Went to see it tonight and would HIGHLY recommend it.

I'm a big film fan, but would find it hard to name a top 5 or whatever, so here's just a few faves.

Big Trouble in Little China
Police Story Best Jackie Chan film ever :)

If I had to pick 10...

Star Wars (original series ONLY), Terminator 2, LOTR series (Extended Edition even better), Notting Hill, Amelie, Matrix (only the first one), Inception (see my comments above), Shaun of the Dead, The Breakfast Club (the only film that I've ever worn out a DVD of), Casino.

Yeah! There are a few old timers here who haven't 'come out' yet :D

These young pups wouldn't even know about a Saturday Matinee for a tanner/shilling (depending on the films). Noon 'till 5pm, 3 films, you wouldn't get a multiplex doing that kind of deal these days!
