I guess you experienced domainers know who TagNames Limited are and perhaps why some of their domains have not been renewed yet. Will they ever become suspended and drop?

LTD comps seem to get extra time, but they rarely if ever let their names drop.

Most the domainers on here, never let anything drop.

I believe many of them will drop in fact.

Today's 'cryptographer', 'unattended' and many other oncoming.
Certainly after two years it can be realized that there is no commercial value in names like 'solidify.co.uk'

Skinner I disagree. I do let stuff drop.

If you renew before the expiry and dont pay the invoice then it can sail past expiry without suspending. I've seen that happen.

I'm still seing a lot of tagnames names well past renewal. What's the deal with that? Are they downsizing or invoices outstanding?

I just booked a catch with Dale's dropsystem.co.uk site for a domain dropping tomorrow, then I noticed in the Who-Is lookup that it says:

Registration status:
Renewal required.

Instead of the usual:

Registration status:
Renewal required.
*** This registration has been SUSPENDED. ***

It's registered to Tagnames, will this not be dropping tomorrow then

Why is it that TagNames domains go so far past the usual deletion point month after month?

I let Dale (dropsystem) know about the booked tagnames domain that wasn't going to be dropping so he could take it off his catching list to save resources, he sent me a refund straight away , cheers.

Edit: We may consider filtering them out of our lists. We will also have a change to our system soon which will kick off any duff domain bookings from the public system each day. Announcement coming by email.

Aye, I am watching one that was due to drop yesterday. Still not dropped, but still suspended. I'm also watching one that has been suspended since f u c k ing November last year.
Do Tagnames get special treatment from nominet or what? Seems wrong if the normal rules don't apply!!

On another note. I'm watching 2 owned by Mrs Jello but they are not dropping either.

Scratch the Mrs Jello not dropping thingy. Looks like they are not as special as tagnames. The 2 jello names I was watching just dropped in the past 5 minutes.

I asked nomiment a few times about tag names and they either wouldnt or couldnt tell me. I'm putting my money on they don't have a f@#king clue themselves.
