hi im new buying domain names i have just registered ecio.co.uk because when i typed it in to sedo appraisal it come back with £1999 can any 1 please tell me how accurate sedo is and how to value the domain thank you

Sorry to tell you it's worthless. Sedo appraisals are also worthless.
Do a LOT of research before wasting money on any more

I agree with bonusmedia - before you buy any more domains, you should spend a few weeks reading the forums and also seeing what sells and for how much.

Ha ha well that was stupid I will research before I buy now and thanks for letting me no is they any other good forums to go to cheers also i bought about 5 more very stupid of me but I will soon learn if I post these on here can you tell me if they are worthless atlas and bonus media cheers

Well everyone new to domains registered some rubbish. As Atlas and Bonusmedia say you should read the forums before registering to many domains, its a learning curve like learning a language. domainprices.co.uk and the (sold domains) section on this forum are a couple of examples to get an idea of the types of the domains that sell.

i also got these

led-tv.co.uk
seekjobs.co.uk
mature-sex.co.uk (only got this because it has 673,000 exacts)

can any 1 please tell me your opinions on these thank you

and thank you mgx

only got this because it has 673,000 exacts

When you use the Google keyword tool to check for terms used in a .UK domain, you need to set the location to United Kingdom, you have it set to "all locations" to get 673,000, when set to United Kingdom, it's 49,500.

How many times a term gets searched for in all other countries has no bearing, only UK exacts are needed, and those are what should be quoted.

oh right still learning ha and thanks for that in your opinion is it worth anything
thank you

thanks sean i gathered that im going to look around alot more i just jumped in head first and thank you for your reply

You could do a lot worse than to stop buying for now and read some of the domains and comments here. By and large, all thr best names are gone but every now and then something half decent comes up.
Look at the dropped names thread here to see what people are letting go.
As a general rule the shorter the name the better, plus it should pass the radio rest, .com and , co.uk best in uk
Good luck

cheers eddie what about exact match domains also what do you mean should pass the radio rest thank you

Exact match is only a small factor, howtomakeapancake.co.uk might have 100k exacts but that doesn't mean its worth anything, whereas golfshop.co.uk might only have 2k exacts but is worth £5000 (rough random examples). You need to be patient really.

cheers eddie what about exact match domains also what do you mean should pass the radio rest thank you

Radio test means that if you heard the domain name, for example on radio, you would know how it was spelt.
I.e. Christmas passes the test, xmas fails it, boystoys passes, boys-toys fails
