Productivity.co.uk on auction

I had an email from a company I emailed about the auction, they said they couldnt sign up and bid, so I had a friend signup to test placing a bid. I thought maybe new accounts couldn't bid. Totally my bad. Apologies to all.

Which bid did your friend place? If the intention wasn't to push the price up, why not bid low and bid once?

It was only 1 bid. In hindsight I should have just emailed DL. I had an email from someone who said they were willing to bid up to £200 but couldn't and the domain was only at £50, so naturally I was concerned.

Oh well, its done now and I'm banned unfortunately.

The bid was £185, it wouldn't let him bid and banned him straight away, then banned me.

The domain is still for sale though if anyone wants to make an offer. (if anyone trusts me now!)

You were concerned they weren't able to bid at £50 so you had your friend bid once at £185 (why wait) and then again for at least £220? Unfortunately I think you tried to push the bid higher via shill bidding, so no surprise you were banned. :(

I had 2 domains running, one that was on 175 and one that was on 50. Was only one bid but it didnt actually bid, that 220 one wasnt to do with me. Anyway, I broke the rules, I got banned. Case closed. Lesson learnt. :)
