I had that last week whilst transferring some names to them, the order process would time out and give that particular error. I just gave it a day then all was back to normal.

I renewed 4 domains with them this week, as usual their invoice hit my inbox seconds later, the domains were renewed 3 days later AFTER I complained to their support that nothing had happened apart from me being billed, watch out!

Always check your renewals get processed...

123 problems

Hi,

I tried to by a domain via Paypal with 123 about 3 weeks ago and had similar problems with the oops screen!!

They then took my payment but I didn't get a domain name even though the Paypal payment had clearly gone out of my account

After 2 weeks of 'dealing with the problem' I contacted 'GX Networks' directly and shock horror it was sorted out within 24 hours.

123 continued to blame me for the delay and the problems with the integration of Paypal and it was only when I complained to Paypal that they eventually, mysteriously found my transaction and refunded my money.

123 have the slowest and most unresponsive "Customer Services" team I have ever dealt with (with the possible exception of Tiscali!!)

3 weeks from start to finish all for the sake of £6 and one domain - shocking!

Well it had to happen sometime.

Whereas I normally sing the praises of 123 and have never had a problem, they today took the payment for a renewal and then didnt renew.

I needed it renewed today - AD members will prob guess what domain it was - so I changed the tag to Heart Internet to renew it there.

But, problem, the domain did not appear in their list of domains that required renewal - possibly because its a pre-nom. So, I opened a support ticket and 12 mins later received a reply with the news that it was now available to renew in my account.

Logged on, renewed, check whois. Job done.

Thats me and 123 finished.

It usually takes 20 - 30 minutes to appear in the Heart Account with all names even if you register them from new with heart.

Although I just sent 123 reg an email asking why I couldn't unlock my domain name with a .com

2 hours later realised that I'd already moved it away from them, little embarrassing :(

123reg problem

had that problem and worked round it ok
I assume that you stop 123 keeping card no. so it cannot auto renew, most times when you stop it ,re-reg problems start.
make sure you have no domains [ticked to renew, you can change back after]
put card details in a/c and click to keep entered, wait 5min , then reg domain, after notice of charge. remove card details, put ticks on domains to renew .
I know it seems strange , but after doing it .I've had no more trouble, card details kept off and only put on at time of reg/re-reg with no problems....zee
