3DTVs.me.uk
I have just seen this domain on another thread and I am curious as to why the domain is so high. I thought it might be interesting to research into how it did it.
Some facts:
Looking at the links:
Its name servers are on 'apnachill.com' - PR4
It had a lot of links on: download-tvshows.com - PR3
These however were removed (well I cant find them when looking at the supposed link page)
It has a lot of links from forum members. Here is an example:
http://forums.novell.com/members/techbzns.html
These forum members mostly don't have posts, so it is just a backlink from novell.com (without nofollow) a good idea.
Might look into this some more, interesting!
To summarise:
With just 400 links to the entire site varying between pr0-pr5. A few articles, and a few pages of unique contact. This exact .me.uk has managed to trump sony, google and techradar. Oh and its on page 1 for 3D TV too. Nice going!
