I had a "min. £300 make offer" on the Sedo landing page.
By not dictating the value via a moderate (lower) BIN price, and negotiating each sale AFTER receiving the first (non-binding) offer (and researching the potential buyer / keywords of the domain I am selling), I am maximizing the sales and dramatically increasing the sales turnover volume (= profits).
Lower BINs = underselling (most of the time).
Higher BINs = out of range for some/many buyers
Low starting/make offer = starting point for negotiations / easy-entry for a wide range of buyers.
