I recently applied to Google Adsense and my application was rejected - I used a mini site for the application. I can understand why it was rejected but I wonder how all you lot manage to use Adsense on all your mini sites.

Is it that you applied using a different website (maybe something more "normal" and not intended to replace a parking page) and then just added adverts to all of your mini sites?

I'm going to apply again in a week or so with www.bouncycastle.co.uk so if anybody could have a look there and help me out with some tips to ensure I get accepted, it would be much appreciated.

At the moment I think I need more outgoing links (there's just one at the moment) and perhaps a few more content pages.

Thanks in advance :)

Nice looking site, I doubt you would have much problem getting that one accepted for Adsense.

Only possible problem I can see is it could be viewed as a made for Adsense site, which they don't like.

To be sure of getting in just add some other forms of revenue in there. If it was me I would add a directory and include an add your site for £XX section. You can always take it off once you get accepted ;)

Thanks Paul - I think the bit I've quoted above is the problem, it does look like a made for Adsense site........... because it was :)

I was planning to put a directory in there (I asked about good scripts on here a while back) and I think maybe I'll just do that earlier than planned.

But am I right in assuming that, once you've got accepted for one, you just add Adsense to your other sites willy nilly? So long as you don't break the rules, they're happy?

Yes, you can add it to any of your sites once accepted and you can setup channels to track performance by url/site.

What not offer some reviews of bouncy castles. Google adsense loves reviews and the way smart pricing works you will get paid more for review page clicks than general tips / info pages.

you shouldn't be making a MFA site with this name surely?

Build a bouncy castle sales site and sell the leads on - you will make far more cash this way than you ever will mucking about with adsense.

Adsense is good if you have developed websites with high paying adsense keywords - in this case bouncy castle keywords are going to net you a few pence per click.

A directory also would be good - you can sell advertising on the site this way.

Google tends to favour sites more if those are present as it shows (or not ;-) )that it is a real site.

there's a link in the footer to a theme site that other minisite makers may have used so it might be flagged by the powers that be (remove the link add it back after you've been accepted).

you may be right on the backlinks check I got accepted 10 seconds after I'd clicked the signup button.

how about a login box at the top for manufacturers only

...yea developing this name properly is the best way to go...
