I have 3 requests outstanding since 3pm. I know nominet are doing maintenance today and tomorrow but just checking if any one else is seeing delays like this?

Im getting reports its shagged. Im not getting anything and PGP sigs are coming back with errors

also smtp probs

The first system outage advertised in the recent nom-announce for 28 July
2007 has completed. This outage lasted longer than anticipated. We
apologise for this and advise that the second outage, to start at 9:00 on
29 July 2007, is now anticipated to last for three hours.

Should think they have all gone home for the day now

I think the technical expression is 'tits up'.
Their SMTP servers will not even accept a manual log on using Telnet.

I expect they've all gone home now.

I just spoken to Scott at nominet, aparrently there's a bit of queue due to (what I understand) the extended downtime this morning.

Our requests are being accpeted by their mailserver, just not getting any responce at all back.

I'll let you guys know if I hear anything more.

Which are you querying?

They are running on the 'backups' today "H=bdc-rav.nic.uk"

My requests from this afternoon have just been processed. Looking at an aprox. 5 hour delay!

Seen anything drop since the switch to the backup data centre?

Anyone still getting "V047 Signing Key not recognised"

My key is working fine but Ive got one customer whos key is busted.

When I last tried a couple of hours ago mine was still like that.

That was connecting to bdc-rav or mx2. I can't connect to rav at all.

So I guess it's just some customers who are getting screwed today huh? :(

bdc-rav works. So maybe I need to expand my script to test what parts of Nominets systems are working at any time.

Names don't seem to be droping, but maybe we can be told which SMTP servers will be working when they do.

Still "signing key not recognised" for me.

That's 2 days worth of domains down the drain.

Cheers Nominet!

it seems like its only effecting newer keys then, older keys are working.
