Hi All,

Can anyone suggest an alternative to Microsoft Expression Web?

My free trial has now expired, and cannot find a desired 'free alternative'

I would be happy to just obtain a copy of 'MS Frontpage', but have only managed to download adware so far!!

Any suggestions or good download links would be appreciated...

Try NotetabLight, free version of Notetab.

I agree with previous replies that Notepad++ is good (for those using a Windows operating system).

You might also want to consider installing firefox (if you haven't already that is) and looking at possible plugins for web design, e.g:

I also find that Filezilla client is good for copying and moving files (e.g. a wordpress theme) to a hosted server but there might be something better out there.

I'm using Notepad++ with ease, thank you! I will definately checkout the add-ons and plugins firefox has to offer also.
