In appalling taste on Domainlore at the moment: B***tiality.co.uk :?

I'm surprised that the platform would want such a disgusting name listed which promotes an illegal activity.

Shame on them.

Agree. It'll never sell though so someone's just wasted a fiver....and it's a typo too. Dunno what possesses people to reg names like that!

Didn't realise that - you're right though, an extra 'i' by the looks of it. Maybe this is US spelling though?

It's not that, correct spelling is besxxxxity so no 'a'

Don't forget some names are auto listed and not vetted.

Wouldn't it be more prudent to email Denys and raise this ?

This is no pre-bid mate and outside of any pre-bids every single domain I've submitted has always been moderated or am I missing something? Yep a strange name and choice if Denys approved it :S.

Didn't realise it was automated.

One would hope that Denys as the owner would vet his own name listings, I shouldn't have to alert him...

I'm sure if you have enough competence they are automatically approved into hidden gems ?

I've never sold on DomLore but I'm sure I read to this effect.

Perhaps you're right mate but the owner of this domain has only 14 competence so it was moderated first.

That's right, I can push my domains straight the to gems section, as I am a trusted seller.

Correct. Not sure what the cutoff point is, but I know my listings don't get moderated and haven't needed to be for a while.

The cut off point is 20 competence level, the seller of this domain has only 14.

I think this one slipped through in error, it has now been removed.
Perhaps an email to the site would have been preferable before using such an emotive title.
We know Denys takes a great deal of care and gets it right most of the time, give the guy a break.
Regards
Bruce

+1

Denys has done a great deal for the UK domain community via domainlore. A quick email to him would have been all that was required.

more disappointing to see someone here owns the correct spelling :(

<can of worms>
Yes but the bottom line is it's monetization of an illegal and disgusting act, that's the plain and simple truth...

but the bigger question is it morally acceptable as a business venture, like plenty of other things out in the big bad world.

</ can of worms>

That's why you can go into a police station, speak the word and walk back out. :)

Owning a domain is different than just a word on it's own because it suggests some kind of website & content will be placed on it.
