DL Sale: eff.co.uk (245 GBP)

Will be interesting to see what the .uk sells for now (also up for auction at DL)

Interesting to see that from recent sales, LLL's have always gone for around £500, yet this one goes for £245 because it doesn't include rights to the .uk, showing that quite a bit of value is placed on having ownership of both within the sale.

I think you will find that the ave sale of a lll.co.uk is much less than £500. I think in this case selling as seperate domains will actually bring in more than the usual lll,co,uk + .uk rights pair on D'lore.

On Domainlore I have found a very wide range of prices for pure 3 letter UK domains.

With as low as £175 with .uk and .co.uk up to over £750,
as this went for over £200 it might have had the legs for a £500 + if it was both.

In this instance it might be overall a better price splitting but it was 2 different owners who looked like caught the domain.

This is a strange time to sell as .uk has not really got hold on demand, from looking at the threads here.

It certainly is interesting to see if eff.uk will go for more than the .co.uk,
if it does sell for more, it will not be as a pure domain investment in my opinion,
it would be because the buyer wants that combination of letters.
