Basically someone had a business plan and listed some domains that they own that'll help the business.

She didn't actually own all of them though, so the person interviewing her told her that he now owns one of them and he's willing to sell it to her

I agree that the recipe idea should have been dropped. Not enough revenue potential for the effort. It is a little bit of a shame to get dropped for this at the end of a long process, as knowing where the money is is one of those things that comes with experience.

I just watched this...surely if this was real and not TV he couldnt buy this domain before the interview, as he would have to sign an NDA before seeing her business plan and therefore she could sue him for intellectual property theft or even domain squatting, as he has broken the NDA by buying the domain?
