Financial-Spread.com & Financial-Spread.co.uk

For sale @ £10K the pair - bargain.

Hi,

no traffic or stats at the moment. But, if you look:

FinancialSpread.com
FinancialSpreads.com
FinancialSpread.co.uk
FinancialSpreads.co.uk
Financial-Spreads.com
Financial-Spreads.co.uk

These domains are used by CityIndex.com / the largest financial spread company in the world!

perhaps you should approach them direct - they may have the 10k youre looking for

So Charlie,

what do you think the value of these domains are based on their location/genericism/industry sector/revenue potential etc...

Well as an addition to a current portfolio of very similar names in a market they are obviously keen to dominate I would say that the one particular company might have an interest in purchasing.

They are both hyphened domains which from a personal point only really makes them good for SEO.

The price to your one possible buyer is going to be based on the price they paid for their other combinations.

Even for a large company £10000 for a non key PR name is going to be steep personally i wouldn’t be so 'adventurous' and perhaps to them 2/3k depending on their perceived desire? To anyone else £1000? – It’s quite popular in overture in a cash rich market.

the point is the names are never going to be part of their key publicly marketed image so why would they really want it when they have all the rest?

They are worth at least £10k for the pair...Excellent revenue potential from commission based affiliate progammes.

Financial-Spread-Betting.com is very high up on the search enging rankings. Financial-Spread.com is definitely better.

''Financial Spread'' has the highest number of search results for this sector of financial spread betting. Once links etc.. are put on the site it will get lots of hits. The other .com/.co.uk taken by largest spread company.

Thanks for the opinion, but £1000 is for too low.

What about marketing to a competitor of the other company?

A few emails or a letter aint going to get you 10k - you need to find the right person and meet them face to face with a full marketing plan - this is not a domain that will sell itself.

how did you get on with

Letting-Agency.com 8k
ForSaleByOwnerUK.com 2k
SoccerHandicaps.com
FootballHandicaps.com 4k
LettingsAgent.net 50k
EstateAgencyNews.com 3k
SouthernCyprus.com 25k
RentByOwner.co.uk 7.5k
SMSaPROPERTY.com 10k

LEX

The problem I can see is City Index already own the plurals and have the financial/legal mussle to dispute both names...

IMO you'd have to tread very carefully and think twice before contacting them direct...

From the wisdom gleaned from more experienced members of the board, development with the view of them coming to you could well be the best way to go...

'SAGES'

Guess I'm learning afterall ;)

Could be his brother or something Aaron / George etc.

Or is it a case of 'there are only two Andy Gorams' ?! :)

I'm not complimenting myself you plebian!! There should be no 'legal' problems as these are generic industry terms.

financial-spread.com / financial-spread.co.uk

PM offers

Did you mean plebeian?

erm....yep! - Touche

Plebeian is the correct spelling! It's rather late here in London, England.

On the contrary its early morning.

History is repeating itself here again. The best thing to do is not to encourage Lex by replying to his posts.

I was thinking exactly the same. It's funny when people say anything bad about Lex's domains georgiou82 always seems to make a post either liking his domains or defends him. I guess we'll know for sure the next time it happens.

Morning all... those in the UK that is! Seems like I have missed quite a bit of banter ...yes Lex007 is my brother. You guys want to watch out for our younger brother who I will be inviting to the forum soon!

apd - I'd like you to back your comment up! These names are good names, and for a realistic value of £2-3k in two days from the £20 reg fee I was just complimenting it. The fact is he has picked up some quality names for SEO
