Ok so this is not the prettiest of sites... However, it does get about 600 uniques a month and makes a small adsense revenue.. cant tell you how much in public because of googles policy but its a few quid a month...

Yahoo loves the site, Google has sandboxed it... Mirago just crawled over 1000 pages of it (which i have never known mirago to do ever)

Getting rid of it because i am getting rid of a lot of sites and domains that i no longer use now I work for JayWeb.

You could easily redesign it and sell listings, many UK wedding service providers know of its existance.

Like I say, it's not pretty but it does make a few quid...

User submitted, but there is no back end to the site, its all xhtml / css. I simply built the site to generate some adsense revenue and sell a few upgraded listings. I made about £800 in a week selling upgraded listings.

The submission process at the moment for websites is a simple cgi form to email.

There is one real bonus to the site that i neglected to mention though... There are quite few businesses who listed for free on there who have probably been getting a bit of traffic from it over the months... they will probably upgrade now if you approached them.

Also, there are thousands of other wedding companies who would list their business if approached.

I have built several wedding directories in the past and my finding are that if you affer a free listing and a paid listing, about 5% opt for paid of you appraoch them correctly.

the adsense revenue alone would pay for what i am asking in less than 4 months. I know that is not high adsense revenue but the site is still sandboxed and will soon perform better in google... Look back at the traffic stats three months ago before google sandboxed it.

I think you deserve a trader rating for selling websites once nominet papers, etc., change hands - although I hink you already have been given it for this deal.

I looked at your stats and 1,000 page views this month are from one scraper. It would be a good idea to ban them from your site.

Yeah probably would have been a good idea. Nevermind, I'm sure yesterday will do a better job of monitoring this sort of thing. This site has pretty much ben ignored by me for a few weeks, i just have not had time hense the sale.
