I was hot for 2 LL.com a few years ago and went after about 10
I ended up buying 2 of them but I had leveraged myself a lot, so wanted to sell them

A huge mistake as you can imagine
SC used two brokers to hide their identity (ie hired one company that hired another) to buy the domain.

But cash is king and I was short on cash, so I sold the domains

Kinda how the game is, if you have lots and lots of cash you can wait for the right price
but it ties up a lot of cash and you are never sure you will get the right buyer.

Yeah, it's tough with .coms

At least with .uk you catch nice ones at reg fee and you're under no real pressure to sell, all though obviously the sale prices don't often compare to .com
