anyone with domains at h/i having trouble ,logon or checking domains, I have internal server error keeps flashing on...?....zee

I've been logging on and off the site all day but no probs. 100% improvement on streamline.

thanks,l/t took a dislike to heart for some reason, ok later after restart....!!

I always wonder why people post on a public forum rather than contacting the support dept of their hosting company :)

I thought this was just happening to me.

I was having a log in problem a couple of nights ago. I tried the password reminder function just in case but no emails were received with the password.

I did contact support who said there were no problems with their system.

The next morning I tried the reminder again and the email arrived and I was using the correct details anyway. Then managed to log in.

Maybe to see if it is a problem with heart or just his account, so he doesn't bombard support with an issue they can't do anything about...

Personally, if it was my site down, I'd go to my provider rather than wait to see if another forum member has an issue. I see this on a number of forums, not just this one and was curious.

I'd have thought that a post along the lines of "I have an account with XYZ provider and support advise that the server ABC is presently off-line, eta is NN mins" would be of more use to others.

does anyone have any opinion on heart? their reseller package looks ok - any thoughts?

There reseller account is a joke!

Do a forum search, I highlighted their TOS and others also shared their exp on it :)

I've never hosted with them or dealt with them coz I read the TOS before I TOS'd them out :p so I can only infairness base it on what I know :)

Does anyone have any good offerings to talk about? :)
i don't mind the one i've got but the cost needs addressing

Hey GW, its cool :) was pointing out that altho their tos is crap, thats all I know :)

Charlie are you looking for a reseller account or multi-domain hosting ?

well i have a reseller at the moment - but with a completely redundant php facility. I guess a reseller would be better for the overall plan - if it ever took off!! :D

I personally have a few resellers and I use 1 for when I sell websites, almost all the domains in my signature are all one 1 hosting account with Add On domains heh.

So reseller costs mid XXX per year, or multi-dom early XXX if your not likely to use the multi accounts then I'd go with multi-dom.

For example in dreamweaver, I open 1 project and I have like

skindustrial-
-dom.co.uk
--images
--includes
-dom2.co.uk
--images
-dom3.co.uk
--graphics
--images
--uploads

making it easy to work on them all at once, this also means I can connect once with my FTP and upload to them all making maintenance (i can never bloody spell that) easy as pie.

I trumpet EvoHosting all the time http://clients.evohosting.co.uk/aff.php?aff=060 (aff link), remove the aff link or leave it on :p, I have that mapped to a shortcut coz I promote them so often :p At the mo use the discount code snowplough to get 20% off every month/year/biyearly on shared hosting. 2 yrs hosting with 20gb diskspace/400gb per month bandwidth, unlimited sites, for less than £100 a year with the discount is a winner :)

thanks for the info they look pretty good but i need a reliable fully featured ASP .NET host - with as many extras as pos
currently i have a dual reseller hence why I have a redundant php hosting facility

I can't help you with ASP, I dropped Vis Basic and ASP when they moved away from PE's with .NET almost overnight I downgraded VB from intermediate Applications to purely a POC language and replaced with it C and PHP :)

You may find some help on the 4 guys from rolla forum tho, I used to frequent there :)
