Hello :)

Are you relating to domains I have bought and sold?
I have been buying and selling domains for 10 years

Thanks

Welcome TopDomainExpert, that's a big title to live up to.

Telling us your best and worst names is a tradition for new members and with that user name, I'm hoping the best one is special.

I hope you've got your parachute on :)

Can you see that single green dot on the left, under your username. It'll turn red very quickly if all you've come here for is to spam us ;)

Sean please can you tell me how you come to that conclusion?
You asked me a question and I replied
I am not here to spam and do not appreciate you calling me a spammer

I have lots of valuable domains and plan to offer a good service and be as helpful as possible

Please keep your comments to yourself

Thanks

Ermmmm:

valoan.co.uk Registered on: 24-Apr-2013

pley.co.uk Registered on: 05-May-2013

moonwalks.co.uk Registered on: 26-Apr-2013

Yes they are deleted aged domains

Why does that bother you how old they are?

Joining with the intent of offering a service is why it seems like you may be here to spam

It's never good to introduce yourself as an expert; just a friendly fyi.

But welcome.

No offence but you claim to be a domain expert yet have used a free appraisal bot (something no experienced domainer uses to value a domain).

Welcome to the forum by the way

You can't call deleted domain names old domains, it's a newly registered domain.

Why does it bother me? Because you listed them as up to 12 years old, they're not.

You shouldn't call them premium names either, sex.co.uk, money.co.uk, property.co.uk are premium names worth big money, none of those you listed are anywhere near premium, and as bove, it's pointless using automated appraisal tools, they're way off the mark and generally laughed at by people in the domain industry.

They cease being old or aged domains they day they expired, they are now newly registered domains, they might have had some benefit as previously registered domain if they had loads of back links, but of the 3 domains, 2 have zero back links and one of them has 2 back links.

Thankyou for pointing that out
It does not mean they are worthless

A domain's value is really only what someone else is willing to pay for it. If you have a strong domain that is in demand, the price will be high obviously. But you can also have a domain that is amazing in every aspect but no one wants it.

You should take a long look at the appraisals section, we get new members coming on here most days with similar names, some worse than yours, some slightly better.

Have a good look around the sale sections to get an idea what is worth what, what's selling and what's not, there are much better domains than your posted in the bargain basement section every day.

Why do you think they are worth something, what was your reason for registering them? I'm only asking as you consider yourself an expert on these things, so, it would be good to get an idea of why you registered them, and what sort of plans for sites you think could go on them to monetise them, things that would make them worth something.

What makes pley.co.uk worth something?

What makes valoan.co.uk worth something?

What makes moonwalks.co.uk worth something?

As far as I can see, pley doesn't mean anything, so it'll have to be an acronym for something, the thing with acronyms is, you can't sell them as a certain acronym, the buyer is the one who dictates what the letters will stand for, unless it's already a common acronym that could be readily monetised.

Pley it isn't even a word, all the dictionary sites I tried say "word not found". There are random 4 letter domain name dropping all the time, there are many others sitting there having never been registered, what makes your domain in some way valuable?

What about va loan, all I can see for that is this, "A VA loan is a mortgage loan in the United States guaranteed by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The loan may be issued by qualified lenders.". Which will be of zero use on a .co.uk, and as such, not worth anything.

Of course, valoan could be turned in to a brand, but anyone starting a new brand could use any old name and get the same effect, baloan.co.uk and baloans.co.uk are both available to register and would do the job just as well as your valoan.co.uk

As far as I know, there are no affiliate programs for moon walks, so it's unlikely that you'll make any money from monetising it, maybe if you hold on to it for many, many moons, they might do something like that one day, but I doubt there'll be an affiliate program for it. The only other option I can think of to monetise it would be a site about previous moon walks, which are very few and already well documented.

Nothing like a bit of "Shock & Awe" to liven Sundays proceedings up.

It's a 'Brave' user name TopDomainExpert, and in fairness it would be expected that you would arrive at Acorn with some history and acumen to back it up.

Newbies, and just domain players are most welcome, so-long as nobodies pulling-the-wool.

So in your honest opinion appraise them for me
