I have checked the availability of a UK domain name with Nameroute, and domain-check, and they both say unavailable.
I checked the domain with a site called 123ccTLD.com, and it says available?
Should I risk trying this site?

I find this one pretty reliable- www.titanhosts.net - If you check it on this and reg it through www.123-reg.co.uk and it all works, bobs your uncle!

I second that Aquanuke, if in doubt, check with Nominet directly.

You should be careful of using Mickey Mouse sites because I've known some to log searches and nick them before you come back to register them.

Its a prenom so chances are not. Still its on my DAC list for today just incase.

I use ukreg who I find v good. Although beware I've noticed if you do a domain search on their site then try to register it they hold it for a while! you then goto register it with them and it comes up as unavailable! very naughty.
