How do i transfer websites/domains?

I have a website/domain that i am thinking of selling it is on searchitup.com and was wondering if anyone knew how i would go about transfering it.
Any help appreciated.

It's a .com so I think that it depends on who you registered it with.

Most registrars allow a free push. Meaning if the buyer doesn't have an account with the company the domain is registered, then they should get one and then usually either you or the buyer can initiate the transfer through their control panel.

.co.uk's need forms filling and sending to nominet (see nominet.org.uk)
