On June 9–12, 2025, it.com Domains joined the ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) Policy Forum in Prague, Czech Republic. Andrey Insarov, founder and CEO of it.com Domains, Tess Diaz, Director of Channel Development, Joe Alagna, Chief Strategy Officer, Sergey Gorbunov, Director of Registry Services, Alessandro Baruffi, Director of International Partnerships, and Rolandas Japertas, Business Development Manager, represented the company at the event.
The ICANN Policy Forum brought together domain industry experts from around the globe; government representatives, business leaders, technical experts, and the general public. They met to tackle urgent Internet development matters, chiefly those concerning domain name policies.
For four days, participants discussed key issues for the industry and the Internet community such as how to manage the DNS (Domain Name System), tackle the shortage of IP addresses, and implement transparent, open rules for the operation of the Internet.
For it.com Domains, participation in the ICANN Policy Forum was an important step in the development of the domain industry and its security. Our team immersed itself in high-level discussions on DNS security, domain management, and industry prospects. We also had the opportunity to provide a detailed explanation of the Registry Service Provider (RSP) program to a wider audience. This is a system for managing domain extensions. With RSP, domain zone administrators can easily organize the registration of domain names and effectively manage confirmations, renewals, and cancellations.

Networking is an important part of the development of the domain industry. We firmly believe that only a united domain community can discover innovative solutions to the pressing challenges facing the sector. We are glad that ICANN provides a venue where we can all exchange experiences and knowledge, as well as share our vision of effective and secure domain name management. The Policy Forum has become a vital platform for us to hold a number of productive meetings with potential RSP clients, as well as with the providers of related additional services,
said Sergey Gorbunov.
