sorry guys but can i ask a quick favour, can you see this website, is it working?

www.magazinesubscription.co.uk

I can't access it, haven't been able for over a day, yet my host reckons he can, can anyone just confirm to put my mind at rest,

Not for me...

Home pc can't ping the url either. Eclipse DNS shows it as not present.

Traceroute to address [twdhosting.co.uk (67.227.245.203)] ok but pretty slow. Might want to move back to uk hosting. Goes all aroung northern US before it gets to your hosts!

Can ping the url from my UK server so sporadic IPS DNS caching issues.

Same here. None on left. Those on right time out...

I get a javascript error in IE8 as well:
Code:
Webpage error details

Certainly something amiss.
My DNS cant resolve the name but googles resolvers can. Then I cant even telnet to the IP directly on port 80 yet I can send ICMP ping to it.

sounds very technical, I still don't have access

Checking now on IE8, IE9 and Firefox all seems there ...

Not working for me, also having problems accessing a friends website. Strange!

Works fine for me.
Also had a quick look earlier and was okay then.
I'm using Chrome.

Sounds like its a DNS server issue, might just be a matter of time - Sometimes there are mess ups and it can take a bit of time to fix. The issue lies within how the actual dns works - If BT publish your IP as 0.0.0.0, a load of other DNS servers will pick up that from them and copy it etc. Google have been taken down by this before ^^

The site will work on some peopls, and not on others - Try switching to google's public DNS:
