Just got back from local hospital and i am pleased to announce the arrival of my third little one "jack" who came in at a frightening 9lb 4oz,mother and baby doing well and what made it memorable was it was delivered by a very close friend who i lost contact with ten years ago,and i remember the last time i saw her she had lost her twins at 38 weeks and i remember her weeping on my shoulder,it must have been fate because we supposed to be having him at the QMC(nottingham) and we got turned away because the maternity ward was closed,so we went to the LRI in leicester and my friend stayed with us for the entire nine hour labour without having a break, the medical profession has got to be one of the hardest jobs out there for very little pay.
