Balls of steel to turn down 4.5k for the name Lee,
Balls of steel
Nothing to do with balls, see how it goes, I won't believe it myself until it completes although I know of the parties involved, only one end user and the DSG below I've never encountered before, I'm surprised the operation behind boots and sainsburys hasn't replied yet but there's still time.
I didn't get a chance to turn down £4.5k, I already had offer of between £4k and £5k at 2.16pm BST and would not have accepted that (the 4.5) over the previous bid anyway as was too close to allow for a snipe with a deadline.
The £5k arrived at 5.46pm BST and contact confirmed by a third party before I acknowledged and told the other. The £4.5k came in at 7.04pm BST. I have £5k on the table, one party may or may not counter, I may well have to come up with a BIN but knowing how business is with emails, I am waiting to see what comes of yesterday's six hours of emails. I may sell sometime tomorrow, see how it goes.
Most of the businesses have been far from easy to contact via website, requiring forms to be filled in rather then emails, I sent out to my own contact list manually too and because laptop is dead still need to check who I missed, though most should know about domain sale by now. Also have to check with Sedo tomorrow and see if they have found anyone, if Sedo are any good then they should have surely? Ideally I'd keep it for a year or two, barring another decent catch this week, I'm told buy-flights.co.uk aint bad, this domain will most likely sell.
Nothign to do with balls unfortunately, people simply like the domain for what it is and rightly so and as Phillip has stated, most businesses should be chasing this domain with vigour especially if it's their line of business.
