Paul, the only way to do that is to get a .uk zone file which lists all registered domains and their associated nameservers from which you could identify Sedo parking. However you can't scrape Sedo either because they don't have "scrape friendly" URLs. No go I'm afraid.

yep, scraping sedo shouldn't be a problem. Just make the script fill the queries in the form and scrape the names from the result pages.
But before you do it make sure it's not against their tos

Indeed. If you go the whole hog with 'Lynx' and 'POST' or 'GET' you can do it. But as MG says, watch the TOS.

i want to do it legal im looking for what is for sale in the .co.uk but sedo makes it hard to look at what .co.uk domains are actually for sale or on auction.

They make it very hard even from the standard interface. I put in ".uk" criteria and all domains starting with 'a' and got a load of rubbish back.

What are they like?

apparently sedo has a 'sales db' or maybe API to share, as i've seen this data made available to other websites.

I am guessing it is going to take a while to compile a large list using PRSS with the 21,000 a week search limit Nominet impose.

Yeah and you cant just do a search on say ns1.sedoparking.com it has to be a domain name or registrant etc..

I read your post to quick before .. so no you cant just search by ns1.

If you click on the search domains, and they use the drop down menu to just .co.uk you then have to search by each category, as Sedo have that many uk domains that the system they have cannot handle pulling them all up at once, so you have to search through each category one by one.

I doubt Sedo would want this information readily available to IP lawyers.
