What do people think is the relative value of ltd.uk domains, if you sold them along with the dormant limited company? To me, they seem less 'spammy' / 'affiliate-ish' than org.uk's and me.uk's.

Imagine a single word strong generic, where the .co.uk would sell for a very large pile of cash. Does the ltd.uk have reasonable value?

Anyone ever tried to rank a ltd.uk in Google?

My understanding is ONLY THE limited company can own a ltd.uk

Yeah ... that's what I mean, if you acquired / registered a very strong single word generic Limited company name, does the .ltd.uk domain have reasonable value?

More than org.uk? More than me.uk, less than those? What do people think?

I would say a .ltd.uk is undoubtedly worth considerably less than .org.uk for the simple reasons that (1) most of the public is not familiar with the extension and hence a brand which may cause confusion is a bad idea and (2) it is less transferrable/ sellable to other domainers to the extent that the red tape and compulsory company ownership amounts to a headache most domainers can do without.
