Great domain! Wouldn't be selling for less than 5 figs if I owned it

Nice name with multiple angles would have to xxxxx agree to the right buyer good luck with it.

If I were you I'd ask MyMemory.co.uk if they were interested in it.

Hi Ben

I remember you posting this back in 2008 when you had just developed a site on it Link here

Can I ask why you decided to park it instead as opposed to carry on with the site etc ?

Great name though and like others have said a £xx,xxx name for certain.

Should fetch 10k

Sounds great but lets look at options >

Computer memory : the cloud is changing the need for this.

Peoples memory : they will expect free online tests.

Memory foam : this gives trademark issues.

Nice name and good luck 8)

Not that much. Laptops & PC's will be around for a loooong time. And smartphones / tablets have expanded the market to sdhc & micro-sdhc.

quite a nice domain, but imho it looks worth more than it is, this for one reason is due to the multiple meanings - i'd rather have dementia.co.uk ;(

thus its not worth bothering with from an investment/dev perspective - the fact that its failed speaks volumes..

Its criminal to have this parked. You could have a site on there and earning in minutes.

The problem with that mate is that SD cards and similar cost little to buy these days.

You could try talking to the folks at Crucial, see if they'd let you point the name directly at their affiliate programme via a 301 redirect or similar...

Might make significantly more than parking does - with no added effort - assuming you're getting some ok typein traffic.

but they still have to be bought and it's surprising how easy it is to fill a 32gb card. I've done it with movies and an OTG cable for an android tablet.

Yes i question it's value also, it is broad in variables which reduces it's appeal thus value...it's for the branding brigade to market this, nice domain though but probably wrong time to sell due to the fact we are still feeling the Nominet effect (.uk) and Google giving EMD's less love

good luck with your venture...

Mark

It's still a cracking domain name, but it's best days are behind it, now that memory costs are so low!

I'm going to slightly disagree with you. In this instance and for this word

Sure prices were high, memory, hard-drive and graphic card upgrades were the mainstay of the PC upgrade. these days the memory bay is the only easy accessible point of access and still the owners first and foremost first port of call to resolve all "perceived" issues.

I have no-idea of the market size but my guesstimate that in terms of dollars/ pounds the memory upgrade market is nowhere near as shrunk as some would believe. Margins and number of players being a far better measure of the value of the term.

@ Bailey, what is memory bay? I've never heard of it and there's nothing for it on Google. All I can see is membay.com but surely can't be that, as there are no products on that terrible looking site.

Showing my age :(

You know what I mean. one of those few places where the owner can still upgrade his laptop/notebook - yes I know the hard drive is still accessible, but most users don't want to clone their hard drive
