8.6% of sales if we strip out tablets – up from 8.5% in June
17.6% of traffic came through mobile – down from 20.7% in June
11.2% if tablet traffic is stripped out – down from 13.7% in June
Mobile traffic is converting at 3.2% – up from 3.1% in June
Headlines for July:

July saw us generate 13,000 sales through mobile devices each day
The iPad generated 300 sales per hour throughout July
We saw 1.6 clicks every second originate from an iPhone throughout July

Yeah very important - the hotel industry has even more need for responsive designs.

Some highlights: 61% who arrive on a non mobile friendly site leave and book somewhere else, and in Jan 2012 desktop hotel searches were down 40% with mobile searches up by 70%!

how interesting that the sales from mobile sales down from previous month, personally hate buying from mobile/tablet devices, I use the kids kindles and they are horrid things, google ads 1 millimetre away from tabs and I didn't like them the first time around.
