I have just created my first Minisite :

looks ok. I always though get frustrated by the same content typography - standard font-size & line-height.

Play around with it, make it look distinctive.

Maybe add a tagline somewhere so that you can instantly convey the purpose of the site.

Maybe embed some links into the main body text too..

Remember that high contrast on the links can improve the click through rate.

Good effort though.

I'd boost the amount of key word rich text by as much as 100% if possible.

Good site - the ads seem to be directed towards the UK market (play.com, HMV, eBay UK), but do you not expect the biggest target market to be the US?

Have to take a look at your stats and see where visitors are coming from - if mainly outside the UK then may benefit from ads in $ rather than £?
