Well not necesserily new, but the latest incarnation. I like it, you don't have to piss about entering captcha every time you leave the page for ten mins and it puts your exact search in a seperate box from suggestions. My question is, why does it show your search query firstly without brackets, and then in them, with a difference in search results?

What is each suppose to signify?

Without backets is broad, inside [] is exact match

When you first enter the search term, it's default set to the 'broad' term and shows only the broad result without brackets, then when you tick to show 'exact', it keeps the broad term and adds the exact term in the same box next to it between brackets.

Does anyone else find the captch a pain up the arse?

Sometimes it has even had German umlaut letters lol

Glad its not only me struggling with the captch code! have to try 2 or 3 times...

Ahh ok cheers guys. So why bother even giving you the option of broad or exact, why not just show both to start with?! Silly Google

I used to hate the captcha but it doesn't come up anymore, I've had GKT open in a tab for over a week and it's worked without refreshing it once. Some captcha boxes are getting beyond a joke now, I've seen a few that are completely indecipherable even after several 'generate new code' clicks. It seems a hit and miss thing, if you have to make it unreadable to stop spam then what's the point? I'm surprised there isn't anything replacing it yet.
