New youtube layout?

A bit fresher, though whi they didn't centre the layout I don't know. Same with google. What's with the forcing everything to the left!

Its to make it more device friendly and increase advertising sizes/formats on devices with a wider viewport, such as desktop monitors.

Thats what I've been told.

They always seem to be fiddling with it lately, I've seen menus appear and disappear again, things move around, etc.

I'm sure I've seen a study where they monitored where people looked at on a webpage and the eyes were normally drawn to the top left of the page, then across and down the left hand side. This is in a kind of F shape down the page.

I really liked the suggested videos on the right on the homepage when logged in.. real shame thats gone.

I also liked knowing on the homepage when someone had replied to one of my very witty comments, that is also gone.

^ For either of those things now I need to do more clicks, so the usability in my instance has gone way down, so I don't like it.
